21 Hungarian Companies in Amsterdam

The Agricultural Marketing Centre (AMC) is participating with a national pavilion at the PLMA’s "World of Private Label" International Trade Show in Amsterdam, held from May 19–20, 2026.

This is one of the most significant international professional events for the private label market. With a history spanning nearly 40 years, the event is a defining player on the international exhibition scene, regarded by retailers and manufacturers alike as a highly important business forum.

The exhibition provides an effective platform for building international business relationships, expanding export opportunities, and developing private label programs. The significance of the event is well demonstrated by the fact that in 2025, 3,154 exhibitors from 75 countries participated, while approximately 32,000 professional visitors from 125 countries attended the trade show.

Organized by the AMC, 21 Hungarian food industry companies are showcasing themselves this year across 198 square meters, alongside the representation of the Company’s food export development branch, the Hungarian Food Business Program. The Hungarian selection reflects the diversity and innovation of the domestic food industry. Exhibitors include:

  • Gluten-free and functional products

  • Muesli bars and oat-based products

  • Frozen fruit and vegetable products

  • Soft drinks and energy drinks

  • Herbal teas and fruit snacks

  • Preserves and pickles

  • Premium meat products

  • Breaded and deep-frozen products

  • Chocolates and confectionery

  • Bakery products

  • Cocoa- and coffee-based beverage powders

  • Various vegetable oils, flours, seed butters, and canned goods

Notably, the products of two exhibitors from the national pavilion—Virgin Oil Press Kft. and Cornexi Food Kft.—have been selected for the New Product Expo, which showcases the latest innovations.

The growing interest of Hungarian companies in PLMA clearly indicates that the role of private label products continues to strengthen worldwide. The AMC's goal with this collective presence is to further increase the international visibility of Hungarian food products and to help domestic businesses secure new business opportunities in international markets.
